A dolmen, a characteristic sight in all corners of Irish landscape, is a type of prehistoric chambered megalithic tomb that consists of two or more vertical megaliths supporting a large, flat horizontal capstone. Most dolmens date to the Neolithic period.
This pendant in shape of a large dolmen has been hand fabricated from recycled sterling silver and heavily textured to imitate the look of an ancient stone. On its right side there is a couple of cup and ring marks, a form of rock art often found on Western European megaliths.
